Immune Support with Mushrooms

Consuming mushrooms and mushroom elixirs have been another arm of changing my lifestyle to heal my thyroid and overall health. Their ability to support our immune systems so fiercely is something I felt I should share; given the current scare of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

Mushrooms: The Internet of Nature

Mushrooms are like the internet of nature. They communicate with the trees, providing them vitamins and minerals, while the trees provide sugar back. It’s a truly symbiotic relationship at work 24/7. Additionally, mushrooms are some of the post potent, healing plants on our planet.

For instance, I recently discovered that Chaga mushrooms are specifically strong in repelling viruses like COVID-19 (Coronavirus). They are being utilized by many people in China during this time. Why Chaga?

Benefits of Chaga Mushrooms

According to a great resource like Annanda Chaga and the sources Annanda sites on the bottom of their webpage, Chaga mushrooms contain up to 50 times more superoxide dismutase (SOD) than any other medical mushroom. They are the richest source. When consumed, this powerful enzyme SOD helps to absorb free radicals and fight disease and viruses. You can check out Annanda’s site for Chaga and other amazing mushroom foods they offer.

A substance called hispidin is responsible for the potent anti-viral and antiseptic power these mushrooms hold. The hispidin in Chaga mushrooms activates specific cells in your immune system to seek out invader cells and repel them. This is why they are so helpful during intense illnesses such as cancer.

Best Sources of Chaga

Mushrooms like Chaga make for powerful medicine against all viruses and pathogens; even Epstein Barr Virus. According to natural health leader and author Anthony William, he believes that EBV is responsible for virtually every health issue. This includes thyroid disease and cancer; just to name a couple. So, back to shrooms. How can we get more mushrooms like Chaga in our lives? There’s more convenient ways to do this than ever before. Here’s my favorite ways below:

I hope this post is helpful to anyone who is looking for a powerful and natural way to strengthen the body and immune system. The worst thing we can do in facing any illness is panic or get overwhelmed with fear. This will actually weaken your immune system. In addition to getting good sleep, creating healthy habits, staying hydrated, and getting vitamin C in your diet, mushrooms are also here to help us thrive.
